About the State Park

Hours: 7 am - 11 pm daily

Providing you with easy access to Mount Battie and Mount Megunticook, Camden Hills State Park is a recreational area for those who love the outdoors. The park first came into existence in the 1930s, and visitors have loved coming here ever since. Get a gorgeous overlook of Maine via the various trails that the park has. The trails have different difficulties, so any hiker of any skill level can travel here and get a nice view.

The park is an ideal place to go if you're looking for a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. While there is a small fee to get in, it's worth it if you want to explore Maine's nature first-hand.
