Our Policies at Pine Grove Cottages

Thank you for making a reservation with us. Please familiarize yourself with our policies, as you have agreed to them by making a reservation with us. If you have any questions please contact us at 207-236-2929.


Room Rates and Additional Persons:

  • Cottages 3, 4, 5, 6 and 11 are based on double occupancy. Cottages 7, 8, 9, 10 are based on 4 person occupancy. There will be an additional charge of $25.00 per night per person for cottages 7, 8, and 9.
  • Cottages 7, 8, 9. If you are planning to use the sofa sleeper for someone in your party please let us know prior to your arrival. We will gladly prepare the sofa sleeper and provide an additional blanket and pillow.
  • All of our cottages are smoke-free. Smoking is permitted outside or on your deck. Incense burning is NOT allowed inside the cottage. Cleaning fees of $250 will be automatically charged for smoking or incense burning inside the cottages.


Dog Fee:

  • Pine Grove Cottages are “dog-friendly” but we do have a 2 dog limit, please see our Dog Policies, which include that your dog must not be left unattended in the Cottage unless they are crated.
  • There is a $25 per night per dog charge.


Check In/Check Out:

  • Check-In is from 3:00pm – 7:00pm unless otherwise arranged. Check-Out is no later than 11:00am. Late Check-Out fee is $50 per hour unless pre-arranged and approved based on availability.
  • Please drop off your key at the office or in the drop box outside the office.


Payment:

  • A one-night deposit including tax will be charged to your credit card at the time of booking your reservation.
  • Your remaining balance will be charged to the card on file the day you arrive.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.
  • All room rates are subject to the Maine State Sales Tax (currently 9%).


Cancellations/Modifications:

  • No refunds for early departures.
  • A minimum of two weeks' notice of cancellation is required for a refund, less a $25.00 accounting charge.
  • If you cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival, shorten your stay or check-out early, you will be responsible for your entire reservation. We will refund the charge if we can re-book your cottage.
  • Reservations made through third-party sites (Expedia, Booking, TripAdvisor, Hotels, etc.) and not directly with us are mostly non-refundable and subject to their cancellation policies. Please contact the third-party for additional information.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or other travel disruptions.
  • We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to our guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.


Daily Housekeeping:

  • All cottages are thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival.
  • We will not enter your cottage during your stay to provide daily housekeeping, unless there is a need or maintenance concern.
  • All linens are provided in your cottage prior to your arrival.
  • If you need extra linens or amenities please contact the office.
